The ASM-requirements and processes are aligned to our internal processes. Those are described in our internal standards and processes.

  5. ASM AutolivSupplierManual 2. ASM: Why ? -Purpose and Targets-

  6. Reduction of the no. of templates, processes, product variances(!), communication-tools etc. 2. ASM Purpose and Targets By sharing the same vision and goals with our Supply Base we can achieve world class performance. Our strategy is to consolidate, qualify and develop our Supply Base to support Autoliv globally. Global Supply Base = Global Requirements We will decrease the complexity and variance in all areas. And complexity reduction means cost reduction !

  7. 2. ASM Purpose and Targets Common guidelines and tools will optimize the efficiency and quality of collaboration between us and our suppliers. Common, standardized processes and requirements will help us align our work together. Defined, structured processes are intended to shorten the production/tool lead times in projects. Autoliv and it`s suppliers will reduce costs by more “e-working”. Prior process standardization is a must for successful e-working.

  8. ASM publishing on AGI (Autoliv Global Intranet) to internal Autoliv users: end of June (after the training). 2. ASM Purpose and Targets And last , but not least, we want to explain to our suppliers: „ How to do business with Autoliv ? “
