  4. Congratulations, Crew Team! • Over the weekend the rower team competed at the Midwest regional championships. This was the most successful Midwest regatta  the team has ever had. We raced a Novice 4+,Freshman 8, 1st,2nd and 3rd 8+. The novice 4 though did not make the semis rowed a strong race. The freshman 8+ made it to the Finals and rowed a strong race and finished 6th. In the 3v race, they fought a long battle and walked through multiple crews to finish 2nd and get a silver medal. The 2nd 8+ also had a great race , moving through multiple boats in the last 350 meters to take 2nd and a silver also. The 1st eight finished 3rd after a long fought battle with Upper Arlington and New Trier. This means 1V and 2V will be going on to Mercer Lake New Jersey to compete at the Scholastic Nationals.
