WAI –VET IN SCHOOLS OPERATIONS

  • 2008 have 300 students

  • 50 schools participating in the program

  • Dedicated staff to the program

  • Coordinated by Felicity Frazer


RELATIONSHIPS - RTO & VETis

As an RTO

Looking for VETis to provide:

  • Who are the students

  • Access to the VETis coordinator or nominated person

  • Ongoing two – way communication

  • Understanding of the relevant training package AQTF requirements


WHAT VETis COORDINATOR NEEDS TO KNOW

  • The process is simple

  • Establishment of a M.O.U.- Who is responsible for what?

  • Delivery options

  • Not locked into delivery day allocated (currently Wednesday)


What they are required to provide

Establish skill level of students

Not seen as a ‘baby sitter’

Quality assessment is undertaken
