  3. PURPOSE OF THE PROGRAM • The purpose of the program is aimed at pverty alleviation. • It focuses on the manual clearance of the Provincial land. • The main target groups are youth and women. • It also targets the poorest of the poor communities.

  4. IMPACT OF THE PROGRAM • The program has impacted positively on within the various communities. • Currently, it has reached out to 54 families and touched 324 people. • It has instilled community pride and encouraged nationalism.

SHOWCASE OF WOMEN CONTRACTORS • For the Womens’ month , this program has focused on the selection of only women contractors. • The targeted sites are all in Pennington under Umdoni Municipality in the areas of Kelso and Emalangeni. • The sites description are as follows; Erven 910 to 913 and Erven 930 to 933, Pennington. • These sites belong to the Department of Education.
