  7. EIGHT VIEWS WITH OBLIQUE PARALLAX BARRIER But convergence-accommodation conflict causes vision fatigue and sometimes head-ache.

  8. THE CONVERGENCE-ACCOMMODATION CONFLICT In the theater (or living room) the eyes relax the accommodation to focus on the screen. Projected stereoscopic images produce disparity in the retinal images. Such disparity stimulates convergence movements to allow the fusion, and therefore the depth perception. Convergence stimulates accommodation stress to focus the eyes on the (closer) scene. But accommodation cannot change. The eyes must focus onto the screen. This conflict produces vision fatigue and sometimes headache.

  9. PRINCIPLES OF INTEGRAL IMAGING Any elemental image stores different perspective information of the 3D scene.

  10. PRINCIPLES OF INTEGRAL IMAGING The 3D image is reconstructed by ray-bundles intersection. The setup provides each eye with a different perspective of the object, so that binocular observation produces the relief sensation.
