  3. Brief for the working party • The working party will provide the direction for the development of a sustainable approach within the Institute to supporting technology enhanced teaching and learning. • See handout

  4. Role and membership The working party will: • Meet to achieve a specific goal then disband • Provide representation of wider user groups • Work to the brief provided • Includes responsibilities to consult and communicate • Be outcome focused • Work to agreed ground rules

  7. Draft Outcomes • Increase in student enrolments, module completions and client satisfaction. • Increased flexibility in delivery options • Increased digital literacy of staff • Improved capture of data benchmarked to key performance targets.

Draft Goals • increase access to technology • increase staff engagement and capability in technology enhanced teaching and learning • provide systems and technologies to support anytime/anywhere learning. • incorporate a research analysis system to inform Institute decision making • provide accurate capture of activities and engagement for reporting requirements of targets of learner groups.

Draft Strategies • Provide training and support services that encourage staff and students to be effective independent users of information technologies. • Continually enhance the technology enriched learning experiences incorporating emerging technologies. • Support initiatives that recognise creativity and innovation in technology enriched learning and teaching experiences. • Develop a framework that is supported by policies, procedures and services. • Benchmark activities to national e-learning statistics to evaluate effectiveness of framework.
