  3. Short Description • Idealist2014: Coordinated Action ICT CALL 7, FP7 co-ordinated by DLR (DE) • 88 Partners EU and non-EU from 75 countries worldwide • Duration: 36 months • Start: Oct 1st 2011 • End: Oct 1st 2014

Who we are… • Ideal-it is a network • with more than • 60,000 contacts in line with the international cooperation strategy of the European Commission • with14+ years experience • supported by • more than 65 ICT national partners • from all EU MS and Non-EU Countries = Ideal-ist Consortium members

Project Objectives • Reinforcing the ICT NCP network by promoting trans-national cooperation • Identification and promotion of good NCP practices • Provision of dedicated training and twinning measures for NCPs • Provision of a quality checked Partner Search for the proposers • Raising the awareness for NCPs’ services including the performance of practical initiatives which benefit cross-border audiences • Improvement of cooperation with other networks, organisations and initiatives

Ideal-istservices • Ideal-ist supports Small and Medium enterprises (SMEs), Academia, Non-profit Organisations, larger Companies and public Administration, Newcomers, Research Organisations and consultancies in • interpreting the ICT work programme of FP7 • submitting project ideas in line with the Challenges & Objectives of FP7 • finding the right partners for their project • joining as partners to other proposals • joining on-going projects via competitive calls launched by project coordinators

  10. 1st Step Proposer inserts a newPartner Search online 2nd Step The PS is checked by a local representative ------------ 8th Step PS is closed and Proposer fills in feedback form 3th Step Quality Team check PS according To subjective and objective criteria: Quality label 7th Step Proposer chooses partner(s) and build consortium (98% success rate) 4th Step PS is published & distributed to subscribers of the national Ideal-ist mailing list (60.000 contacts) 6th Step Proposer replies to EoIs (Standard reply Form) 5th Step Potential partners send EoIs (Expressions of Interest)to the proposers (on average 50 per PS) HowIdeal-ist finds partners for you
