  7. The SMMS PTA and Library are hosting an early morning “Breakfast with Books,” where students and parents can shop the SMMS Scholastic book fair, enjoy sweet pastries and sit and read together.

  8. “Breakfast with Books” will be held before school, on Tuesday November 13th from 7:30 a.m to 8:30 a.m. Please come and join us for an early morning of “Breakfast with Books”.

  10. Club sign-up forms and brochures are available in each house area, as well as on our school web site for print out at home.

  11. Rubik’s Cube Club will NOT meet today, November 8th. November’s Rubik’s Cube Club will meet on Thursday, November 15th this month. -Mrs. Anderson

  17. Recycle your old printer cartridges here and help raise money for Smart’s Mill.

  18. For every printer cartridge we recycle, we get $2.00 store credit at Staples. That can add up to a lot of school supplies for our teachers and staff!!!

  19. Grab your scissors and keep an eye out for the Box Tops for Education logo on the products you use every day. For every Box Top you clip, our school will receive 10 cents. That may not sound like a lot, but it adds up quickly.

  20. Bring your Box Tops for Education to your Focus teacher.  The focus group that collects the most will get a prize provided by the PTA
