  2. Editing Master Slides • To make formatting changes that affect all the slides in a presentation you must change the Master Slide • Click on View  Master  Slide Master

  3. Reducing File Size - Pictures • To reduce picture sizes, crop unwanted sections using the crop tool on the photo • Reduce image resolution by Right clicking on an image and choosing Format Picture  Picture  Compress

  4. Inserting Movies • To insert movies into PowerPoint, click on Insert  Movies and Sounds • To insert a clip art movies select Movie From Clip Organizer • To insert your own movie select Movie From File • Movie Files are notoriously large and can introduce compatibility issues

  5. Inserting Sounds • To insert a Sound, click on Insert  Movies and Sounds • Sound From Clip Organizer • Sound From File • As with Movies, Compatibility & File Size can be problematic • Play CD Audio Track • And …

Harnessing the Internet • Adding Hyperlinks can take from PowerPoint to: • Website on Nuclear Bombs • A slide within the current document • Another document on your hard drive • To insert a hyperlink, highlight the text or object you want to link from, right click in the highlighted region, and select Hyperlink
