What’s YLP? • A program designed for young people • To develop their skills of today’s world • It’s a workshop style • Eight sessions and lasts 1-2 hours each • The participants will learn • To prepare and present a speech • To conduct a meeting and introduce speakers • To evaluate others • Effective listening

  4. Why does TM need YLP? • To guide the young people under 18 • Goes beyond the club • More opportunities beside to give a speeches • ACG Award • ……. • Conducted…, or a Youth Leadership Program • …….

  5. Requirements • Support from the key persons • Students • Teachers • Bosses • Enough participants • Approval from club executive committee • Appoints a coordinator and assistants

  6. Something you should know • No charge from participants • Order the materials from club budget or • The school • The boss • As a donor, not sponsor or co-sponsor • Materials’ copy right • Only TM members may run YLP • May have a presentation banquet after Session 8

  12. YLP in NPIC • May 23, 2007, first contact with NPIC • Preparation works • Find out the assists • Assign the key person and to recruit students • Then, order the materials (30 days) • Discuss the agenda and assignments with your assists • Approval from your club executive committee
