EEIC MAP SERVICE • May: seminar in Tallinn, Estonia • Target group: EEIC & Finnish experts/specialist • Issue: exchanging experience and ideas; lessons learnt (Finland-Estonia; Oracle, ArcSDE, ArcIMS) to enhance EEIC map service • (I) Demonstration of Finnish map services (both those finished and those half-finished but still publicly available) to EEIC • (II) smaller discussion and practice with the map server • Till August: Developing EEIC map service • August-September: Launch of EEIC map service

DISSEMINATION (I) • 18-19.04 seminar in Saka, East-Estonia • Target group: EEIC • Issue: dissemination plan • How to proceed with the proposal (i.e promotion, dissemination) • Publication in Estonian? “SDI as a tool for environmental decision-making; facilitator of accessing environmental data; connections between ENVIFACILITATE, INSPIRE, Environmental Register (incl EELIS) etc” • April-end of project: Implementation of dissemination plan according to decision to be made at Saka

DISSEMINATION (II) • April-June: national proceedings with the proposal • May: seminar in Tallinn, Estonia • Target group: EEIC & Finnish experts/specialist • Issue: exchanging experience and ideas; lessons learnt (Finland-Estonia; Oracle, ArcSDE, ArcIMS) to enhance EEIC map service • (I) Demonstration of Finnish map services (both those finished and those half-finished but still publicly available) to EEIC • (II) smaller discussion and practice with the map server • June: 12th EC&GI workshop in Innsbruck: Environmental Data Sharing Opportunities

  5. DISSEMINATION (III) • September-October: seminar outside Tallinn • Target group: local governments • Issue: GIS networking in Estonia • Activities related to NSDI • Strategy • Map services • 5-7 October: project final seminar in Turku
