  2. du-Imperativ • Gibmir den Bleistift, bitte. • Kaufein Liter Milch und einPfund Butter. • Fahrnichtzuschnell. • Formel: • To get the correct verb form, take the ‘du’ conjugation and remove the –st. • On stem-changing verbs with Umlauts, omit the Umlaut (z.B. fährstfahr). • The word ‘du’ is omitted from the imperative. • Add an ‘e’ to the end of the verb if it is hard to pronounce otherwise (verbs ending in d, t, and n definitely need it)

  3. ihr-Imperativ • GehtgeradeausbiszurAmpel. • MachteureBücher auf, bitte. • Kommtmitmir. • Formel: same conjugation as a regular ‘ihr’ sentence, but omit the word ‘ihr’.

  4. Sie-Imperativ • GehenSienachrechts. • KaufenSie das Vollkornbrot. • GebenSiemir das Buch, bitte. • Formel: same conjugation as regular ‘Sie’ sentence, but the verb comes first.

  5. wir-Imperativ • Gehenwirins Kino! • Auf Englisch: Let’s go to the movies! • Essen wireinEis! • Auf Englisch: Let’s eat an ice cream! • Formel: Same conjugation as regular ‘wir’ sentence, but the verb comes first.

  6. sein (to be) & werden (to become) • The verbs ‘sein’ and ‘werden’ are partially irregular in the imperative! • du: Seinicht so laut. Werdenichtböse. • ihr: Seidnicht so laut. Werdetnichtböse. • Sie: SeienSienicht so laut. WerdenSienichtböse. • wir: Seienwirlocker. Werdenwirnichtböse.
