Old Testament Hints • Abraham • Moses • Job • David • Daniel you will not abandon me to the grave, nor will you let your holy one see decay And after my skin has been destroyed, yet in my flesh I will see God Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake. he calls the Lord `the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. Abraham reasoned that God could raise the dead.

  7. So What will happen.. • when I die? • when Jesus returns? • when I am raised? • glorious • powerful • undie-able • like Jesus

  8. Implications • Strength for today • Hope for tomorrow If only for this life we have hope in Christ, we are to be pitied more than all men. But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who have fallen asleep.
