Can we do a better job? • Texas four year graduation averages for four year public universities is: 49.3% • National average is : 29.9 % • Texas rates are better than the national average but we are still lagging significantly behind our peer schools nationwide. • University of Virginia: 85% graduation rate • College of William & Mary: 82% • University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill: 76%
