SHRM – Areas of Study • The Unit covers a very wide range of themes that are relevant in contemporary workplaces such as Ethics, Work Life Balance , Managing Change , Employee Relations, Performance Manegement and Employee Engagement . • The focus is on current People management issues within organisations

  4. Prior Knowledge • Prior study in Human Resources Management will assist your learning however there is no requirement for this. Students without any study in this area are guided to additional reading and support at the start of the course. • It is a very popular area of study and our students range from the whole array of business disciplines

  5. Lectures and Seminars • The module is delivered in a lecture and tutorial format. The tutorials are participative , giving students the opportunity to engage in discussion and consolidate their learning.

  6. SHRM - Skills • The Unit develops skills in critical analysis as well as advanced communication skills in preparing , considering and responding to colleagues points of view.
