  3. I gave this site 4 stars • I enjoyed the internship very much, so I thought it deserved a high rating. I did a little bit of everything at this internship from creating press releases, building websites, attended the Sunshine State Games in Florida, to helping with the setup of a Seminar Series that will be held in the Fall. I enjoyed that I did not have to dress up every day also. • There was very few things I did not like about the internship. The only set back was that there were a few times where I did not have much to do.

  8. Internship Objectives • 1. Set up and oversee the new website for the Center for Sport Management Research and Education. • 2. Help in all of the processes leading up to the Sport Business Lecture Series and help with the organization of that. • 3. Attend the 2009 Sunshine State Games in Florida. • 4. Renovate and remodel the Center for Sport Management Research and Education in the D. Bell Building. • 5. Help with any other tasks or programs that need assistance along the way.

  9. Daily Activities • Office work (Work on the website, Press releases, Flyers, etc) • Sunshine State games for a week in Florida (Event Management) • Speaker Series setup • Renovation of the Center

  10. Project Description • My main two projects are the redesign of the Center’s website as well as to help with the organization of the Sport Business Seminar Series that will be put on by the Center in the Fall. I have to meet regularly with a project manager to get training to build the website. For the Sport Business Seminar Series, I have had to make press releases, sponsorship proposals, as well as brochures. I have also had to get in contact with potential speakers for the seminar series.
