  2. Year 1000 Year 1250 • In year 1000 the Chinese had made gun powder for the guns. • Year 1250 • The had started to make guns for warfare.

  3. Year 1364 • The first firearms were used. • They had recorded the use of the gun.

  4. Year 1400 year 1509 • Matchlock was made. A Matchlock was the first musket made, and a slow-burning wick that put in the hole of the breech. • 1509 • The wheel lock had been made and replaced the matchlock.

  5. Year 1540 Year 1630 • Rifling was put into the firearms. Rifling make grooves in the barrel. • 1630 • Flintlock guns were invented . A flint lock opened top of the flash pan and burned the spark.

  6. Year 1825 - Year 1830 • Caps were firing machines that shot straight in the barrel • 1830 • The back action lock was made

  7. 1835-1871 • The colt revolver made it possible to shoot multiple rounds. • The creations of shotguns, Breech loaded guns, and the Gatling gun. • Also multiple cartridges like the pin fire, full rim, the center fire, and the cartridge revolver.

  8. 1873-1903 • The Winchester rifle was created, double-action revolver, Burckhardt pistol, ad the automatic gun.

  9. The reason I chose this topic is because of the power and controversy firearms had made over the last century. Also they have the power to protect. I have not have many experience with the firearm abut as far the social environment the firearm had a lot of experiences like assignations, killings, and deaths. Why did I choose this topic? What importance does it have on my personal life as well as on society and/or the environment?

  10. The area would have to be Human ingenuity because it is a manmade object that is well used. What areas of interaction would be addressed by my work on this problem or topic? How will they be addressed?

  11. Has it been able to shoot more than just bullets? How does it effects certain communities ? How they made them lighter and harder? When it was it made? List four guiding questions that you will seek to answer by studying and responding to the topic you have chosen.
