  3. The Present Continuous Tense is used to: 1. a) express actions happening at the moment of speaking. Eg. I’m teaching now.

  4. 1.b) refer to actions that are happening about the moment of speaking. Eg. I’m practicing for the match these days.

  5. 2. Refer to actions that are going to take place in the near future. Eg. I’m cleaning my house on Saturday. Eg. She is cooking chicken for dinner next Sunday.

  6. Form He is eating now. Subject Action Verb + (-ing) Verb To Be Time Expression

  8. Spelling Verbs ending in: • –ss,-h,-ch,-x , -o: -es: kiss-kisses, brush-brushes, teach- teaches,fix-fixes, go-goes. • consonant + y: eliminate –y and take –ies: try – tries. • vowel + y: take-s: buy-buys.

  9. Spelling Cuando el verbo termina en una vocal acentuada entre consonantes o termina en -l, se dobla la consonante: swim - swimming walk- walking sit- sitting wait-waiting travel- travelling BUT
