  11. Analyzing an Assessment Example: IL.COD.1.1 Does the AE ask for language functions appropriate for the proficiency level and the performance? Do the most appropriate Clarifying Objectives inform the assessment? Do students have to use communication, literacy or other types of strategies to be successful in the task? Are those strategies appropriate to the communication mode being assessed? Considering this analysis, how could this AE be adapted, modified or improved for dual language/immersion programs?
