LAV installation: Activity at CERN • A1-A8 status: • HV & signal cable supports for A6-A7-A8 installed • Measurements taken for HV & signal cable supports for A9-A10-A11 • HV recabled A1-A3, with reflected cables • HV cabled for A4-A8 • Signal cables for A1-A11 with correct impedance ready • A1-A8 fully tested, about 10 bad channels • Almost certainly loose pins on connectors on vacuum side of flanges • A1-A8 installation work: 7-18 April • 2 physicists + 2 technicians • Installation of FEE boards & signal cabling • Repair and test of problematic channels • A10-A11 installation: • 15-24 May, if missing sections of blue tube finished on time • Delays due to availablity of Stycast resin for interior coating

  4. A12 construction status: Fantini • Welds between sectors complete: rings ready for milling machine • Some problems with milling machine → small delays • Predicted delivery still 15 April – in time for A12 completion by 1 Aug
