  1. Day 5 After breakfast, we headed out for the Foshay tower. We were trying to climb the stairs to the thirtieth floor. We only made up to the twenty-first floor. Once the elevator stopped on the thirtieth floor we piled out of the crowded elevator. The museum doors were oriental. They looked beautiful. In the museum they had pictures, paintings, sculptures, music, and the history of the building. This building was supposed to the most recognizable landmark in the twin cities. We liked looking at the old pictures of the building and the city. The next floor up was sightseeing. It seemed like you could see forever. We stayed awhile and pointed out the places we have been. After that, we headed out to the zoo. They had so many animals. We headed to the Minnesota Trail. It showed native animals in the northern area. It had beavers, otter, bald eagle, lynx, and gray wolf. There was this animal called a wolverine, it looked like a mix between a wolf and a porcupine. We made a beeline for the Discovery Bay. They were feeding the dolphins when we got there. It was fun to watch the dolphins eat and hear them do their calls back and forth. Next was the coral reef tank. Sarah liked to watch the shark. There were also turtles, big fish, and eels. Next was the Northern Trail. They had camels, snow monkeys, tigers, oxen, moose, and gazelles. There was this weird animal that looked like a mix between a mountain goat and a bison. Next was Russia’s Grizzly Coast. They had brown bears, sea otters, leopards, and wild boars. The Tropics Trail was next. It had so many animals. Our favorite was the Red Panda. We headed out to Café Twenty Eight. It was a small nice restaurant. We had homemade chicken tacos. It tasted delicious. We headed back to the hotel to get a good rest before we left.
