These symptoms are caused by the extended exposure to intense sunlight, and lots of motion, without previously preparing for it. One should get lots of rest, and in a short period of time these symptoms will disappear, by the will of Allah.

  16. Nullilfiers of Ihram For Men & Women: *Trimming or plucking hair from any part of the body. *Contacting woman skin to skin without insertion. *Clipping fingernails or toenails. *Consummating Marriage. *Using Perfume. *Sexual Intercourse For Men Only *Wearing sewn clothes For Women Only *Wearing a Bur’qu(veil which covers the face with openings for the eyes) *Covering face if no male strangers are nearby *Wearing gloves Reminder: If sexual intercourse took place before preliminary termination of the ihram, the Hajj or Umrah would be nullified, and the pilgrim must offer a sacrificial animal and complete the rituals, and must return next year to perform the annulled Hajj or Umrah. If such violation took place after the preliminary termination of Ihraam and before the complete termination, the Hajj would not be nullified; however, a sacrificial animal must be offered.

  17. Umrah The Pillars of Umrah: Umrah has its unique pillars, the incompletion of which would nullify it. They are three: Ihraam, Tawaf and Sa’ee. The Waajibaat of Umrah:1. Entering the state of Ihraam from outside the Haram boundary. 2. Shaving or shortening the hair evenly. The incompletion of these acts would necessitate the pilgrim to expiate with a sacrificial animal. The sacrificial meat should be distributed to the poor in Makkah, and he should not eat from it.

  18. Explanation of Umrah 1 Make a conditional Umrah. Make Talbiyyah from the time you enter the state of Ihraam till you reach the Haram. It is praiseworthy for the pilgrim to have a bath before entering Makkah, and to enter Makkah during the day, in accordance with the Sunnah of the Prophet (). Do not perform Tahiyatul Masjid, rather head towards the Ka'bah and start with Tawaf al-Qudoom. When making Tawaf make sure that your right shoulder and arm is uncovered throughout the Tawaf (for men only!) If possible, touch the Yamani corner. There is no special du’aa for each round. When you finish the seventh round, cover your shoulder.

  19. Explanation of Umrah 2 Do not let anyone pass in front of you while you are praying. After you finish performing Salah, drink Zamzam and pour some on your head for this water is blessed. After this return to the Black Stone and kiss, touch or point at it if you can (in the manner previously mentioned). Head towards Safa and Marwa, as you approach Safa Walk between Safa and Marwa, 7 times. Once you have completed the Umrah shorten your hair (evenly). Clipping a few hairs from here and there is not sufficient. Avoid all Bid’ah in Umrah.

  20. Meeqat What is the Meeqat? The Meeqat are points or stations from where pilgrims on their way to perform the Hajj assume the state of Ihraam. The Meeqat in terms of time, refer to the months of Hajj; Shawwal, Dhul-Qi’dah, and Dhul-Hijjah.

  21. Meeqat Stations • Dhul-Hulaifah: This is for the people of Madinah, and whoever comes across it by land or air. • 2. Al-Juhfah (Today people assume the state of Ihraam from Raabigh instead). This is for the people of Egypt, Sham, and whoever comes across it by land, sea, or air. • 3. Yalumlum: This is for the people of Yemen and whoever passes by it. • 4. Qarn al-Manaazil: This is for the people of Najd and whoever passes by it, by land or air. • 5. Dhatu-Irq’: This is for the people of Iraq, and whoever passes by it, by land or by air.
