HAPPEX Collaboration Meeting 7 Dec, 2002 HAPPEX Analysis Strategy Coda data stream PANAM Pan Feedback Analysis Pan Prompt Analysis ET Clients : IDEA : Split task to make the feedback control fast, simple and robust. - Prompt and monitoring analysis runs separately. -> If crashes occurs : No effect on the runs. - Technically possible to have 3 ET clients running at 30 Hz and until 200 Hz without dead time in the analysis ( No dead time for the DAQ).

HAPPEX Collaboration Meeting 7 Dec, 2002 CODE • Main class handle the GUI (ROOT based) • Reuse of Pan code (analysis task) • Multiple threads (sub processes) allow for easier control of the GUI , Pan analysis and display of histograms • Use Pan Data map channels and defined set of plots for each • Add new classes to deal with Stripchart type histograms.

Instant control of channels individually. • Miscellaneous canvas for customized monitoring
