Grey Market / Product Diversion • What is Grey Market / Product Diversion? • Refers to genuine product which flows from an authorized distribution partner in a low price territory to other authorized distribution partners in high price territories or into a non- authorized retail channel • Why is it so difficult to catch? The offending distributors will often remove any visible variable information (bar codes, lot codes, shipping destinations) in order to prevent the manufacturer from tracing diverted product back to them.
