  2. ThassosIn the Community Limenaria is retained the ancient custom "Γιαβρέξ' Απρίλη μ' "-"April rain",celebrated on the third day of Easter. Folk dances are performed by groups from all over Greece. ( EvmorfiliTzitzou)

  3. Petrokerasia(Chalkidiki)From Xeropotamos monastery of Mount Athos, which stores the Holy Cross, it's moved to the village Petrokerasa which is 52 km from Thessaloniki. The village has a "sacred right" unique in the world to host the Holy Cross from Palm Sunday until Monday morning. This is to commemorate the salvation of the village from extinction due to a terminal illness (plague) in the mid-18th century. (Evmorfilitzitzou)
