  25. 21. Photosynthesis is the process in which plants use energy of the sun to make their own food.

  26. 22. The green pigment in plant cells is called • chlorophyll • What is the need for chlorophyll? • to capture sunlight & provide the electrons needed as an energy boost • to change solar energy into chemical energy
