  1. “THE FOLLOWING”

  2. Paul knew that the “WILL” of God was to believe on the ones that the Pillar of Fire, The Cloud, sends into the earth. After believing then patience is needed for the fruits of the promise. The promise is everlasting life, rewards, fruits of the Spirit, a more excellent way. Many lose these things because they have no patience to believe that the promise will produce itself. Wait means to serve! Serve the Lord and the promise will unfold. ~ D.K.P.

  3. HEBREWS 10:37 For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry. HEBREWS 10:38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.

  4. HEBREWS 10:39 But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.

  5. Drawing back, or pulling back is not an option. When you have the Body Change and are walking in a Spoken Word Body with the “Heart” and “Mind” of God, you will overcome! You will push forward! Nothing in you will let you draw back and step away from this Third Testament. This Word of Today calls us to the Person, not a shadow, a type, or a symbol. We have to see all the promises as the Person within us and declare the Victory. ~ D.K.P.

  6. THAT.DAY.ON.CALVARY_ JEFF.IN V-2 N-5 SUNDAY_ 60-0925 15-3 He was just one Man, the perfect Man. He gave His life, and He made an example for you. Now, what must we do. Now, the first thing I want to say is: Jesus never lived for Himself. His Life was spent for others. That's perfectly Eternal Life. When you say you go to church and you do good things, that's fine. But when you live your life to yourself, you haven't Eternal Life.Eternal life is living for others.

  7. THAT.DAY.ON.CALVARY_ JEFF.IN V-2 N-5 SUNDAY_ 60-0925 It proved it when He come in the Lamb of God. He lived and had Eternal Life, because He did not live for Himself. He lived for others. And you receive Eternal Life by receiving that day, and you don't live for yourself no more. You live for others.

  8. NUMBERS 11:4 4 And the mixt multitude that was among them fell a lusting: and the children of Israel also wept again, and said, Who shall give us flesh to eat?

  9. JAMES 1:13-16 13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:   14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.   15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.   16 Do not err, my beloved brethren.

  10. JAMES 4:1-3   1 From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members? 2Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not. 3 Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.

  11. SATAN'S.EDEN_ JEFF.IN V-2 N-20 SUNDAY_ 65-0829 ……when we lust for knowledge (want a Ph.D., LL.D.) it's sin to do so. That's a strong statements, but that's the Truth. No matter how strong it is, it's still the Truth. See? To lust for knowledge, understanding... It’s a lust spirit upon a man that would bypass the Word of God for his day and seek for something different.~ J. Allen

  12. SATAN'S.EDEN_ JEFF.IN V-2 N-20 SUNDAY_ 65-0829 The thing of it is, is today we don't try to establish the Word of God in the people's hearts. We're trying to establish ourselves. Churches are trying to establish the doctrine of the church in a person's heart.

  13. A ministry will never come to a day of perfection when they lust for something outside of the Word of God to establish the hearts of the people. If a ministry hasn’t come to perfection in the Third Coming, it’s because they’re trying to establish or form their own doctrine into the hearts of the people.~ J. Allen

  14. Instead of planting the Word into the minds of the people for it to take form in their hearts, and move them forward into a Day of Perfection, they’re trying to inject their own theory into the people. They do it out of lust, because they want to build or form their own kingdom. Their ministry holds the people back from entering the Perfect Day, desiring to bring honor unto themselves for something that they did. ~ J. Allen

  15. A ministry is known by what it tries establish or disprove in the hearts of the people. It’s a true ministry that tries to establish the Word of God (Christ) in the hearts of the people. It’s a false ministry that tries to disprove the Word of God (Christ) away from the hearts of the people. ~ J. Allen

  16. NUMBERS 13:1-3 1 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,   2 Send thou men, that they may search the land of Canaan, which I give unto the children of Israel: of every tribe of their fathers shall ye send a man, every one a ruler among them.   3 And Moses by the commandment of the LORD sent them from the wilderness of Paran: all those men were heads of the children of Israel. Paran : It’s called the place of “Caverns”.

  17. NUMBERS 13:25-27   25 And they returned from searching of the land after forty days.   26 And they went and came to Moses, and to Aaron, and to all the congregation of the children of Israel, unto the wilderness of Paran, to Kadesh; and brought back word unto them, and unto all the congregation, and shewed them the fruit of the land.   27 And they told him, and said, We came unto the land whither thou sentest us, and surely it floweth with milk and honey; and this is the fruit of it.

  18. NUMBERS 13:28-31 28 Nevertheless the people be strong that dwell in the land, and the cities are walled, and very great: and moreover we saw the children of Anak there. 29 The Amalekites dwell in the land of the south: and the Hittites, and the Jebusites, and the Amorites, dwell in the mountains: and the Canaanites dwell by the sea, and by the coast of Jordan. 30 And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it;for we are well able to overcome it. 31 But the men that went up with him said, We be not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we.

  19. DID THE MEANING OF THE WORD ABLE CHANGE ?

  20. NUMBERS 13:32 32 And they brought up an evil report of the land which they had searched unto the children of Israel, saying, The land, through which we have gone to search it, is a land that eateth up the inhabitants thereof; and all the people that we saw in it are men of a great stature.

  21. Caleb said, “…For we are well able to overcome it” ABLE: 1) to prevail, overcome, endure, have power, be able 1a1) to be able, be able to gain/accomplish, be able to endure, be able to reach 1a2) to prevail, prevail over/against, overcome, be victor 1a3) to have ability, have strength

  22. NUMBERS 14:1-4 1 And all the congregation lifted up their voice, and cried; and the people wept that night. 2 And all the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron:and the whole congregation said unto them, Would God that we had died in the land of Egypt! or would God we had died in this wilderness! 3 And wherefore hath the LORD brought us unto this land, to fall by the sword, that our wives and our children should be a prey? Were it not better for us to return into Egypt? 4 And they said one to another, Let us make a captain, and let us return into Egypt.

  23. NUMBERS 14:5-7 5 Then Moses and Aaron fell on their faces before all the assembly of the congregation of the children of Israel. 6 And Joshua the son of Nun, and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, which were of them that searched the land, rent their clothes: 7 And they spake unto all the company of the children of Israel, saying, The land, which we passed through to search it, is an exceeding good land.

  24. NUMBERS 14:8-11 8 If the LORD delight in us, then he will bring us into this land, and give it us; a land which floweth with milk and honey. 9 Only rebel not ye against the LORD, neither fear ye the people of the land; for they are bread for us: their defence is departed from them, and the LORD is with us: fear them not. 10 But all the congregation bade stone them with stones. And the glory of the LORD appeared in the tabernacle of the congregation before all the children of Israel. 11 And the LORD said unto Moses,How long will this people provoke me? and how long will it be ere they believe me, for all the signs which I have shewed among them?

  25. This mixed multitude, standing for the unconverted church members, was a source of weakness and division, then as is now. There had been a manifestation of divine power, and men were drawn to it without a change of heart. Un-converted church members, unable to desire or understand Christ as the Bread of God will clamour for things pleasing to the flesh in the work and way of the church: Sumptuous buildings, ornate ritual, an easy doctrine. Alas they lead away the unspiritual believers also. ~ Rev. C. I. Scofield

  26. The Trail of the Serpent Part 16 Personalities Pastor MitaEdwardson

  27. 14 I was wondering on the way to church why there is so much division? Why are there is so much tension, contention and conflict? What’s it all about? I think we should be able to live in peace and harmony, don’t you? Then I narrowed it down to Christians. Why is there conflict between Christians and churches and why is there contention and war between people that confess Christ... even in the ranks of our Message Churches? Why do we have to be so antagonistic and so contrary? We can have differences but we don’t have to be venomous. Our differences don’t need to involve hatred or spite. We can differ bitterly with one-another, and we have a right to do that.

  28. 15Everybody has the right to the freedom to choose and that’s God-given. God has given us the freedom to choose. You can choose your church; choose your husband or your wife. You might want to choose a husband for your daughter, but God has given her a brain and a heart and she has the right to choose. It’s not a father’s place to do that, although we might think we know the best one for our children. We know the school that we want them to go to; we don’t want them to go dancing; we want them to go to Kung-Fu... or whatever it might be that we want for them.

  29. 16 As parents we have preferences and thoughts we think would be the best for our children, but when it all boils down, they have freedom and it’s their choice. They’ve got a heart and a mind. We are here to help develop their minds and hearts – not take them over, control or force them, because if you do, you are going to have problems.

  30. 21 Keep that thought in your mind, and understand that when I speak of control and harness, I’m not thinking about cities and engineers. I’m thinking about human beings... you and your families... churches. Pastors trying to control churches and churches trying to control other churches... women trying to control their men.

  31. How many of you have tried to change your man? He’s just who he is. You say “I’ve tried to get him to do this and I’ve asked him to do that... he won’t even put the rubbish out”, and on and on. We need to change our tactics, even by coming to church and studying like this, so that we can expand our horizons and be better Christians – better parents and employers.

  32. 24 What we are talking about is trying to bring peace and rest... subduing the beast. Human life is a beast... a wild un-tamed savage. A man without the grace of God in his life is outside his right mind... he can terrorise the place, hurt people, destroy the land and do many bad things because his nature’s out of control. Having control is important but how we achieve that control is more important. You can control somebody by putting them in irons. You can chain him to a fence, and say “I’ve got him controlled”, but there’s still a wild un-tamed savage inside. You might have chains on a wild dog... but it’s still what it is. You haven’t dealt with the nature of the beast.

  33. 26 Don’t ever lose sight of the fact that God has our answers. Can you all say amen... heartily say amen? God has the solution. You’re not looking to me for the answer because I’m afraid I’ll let you down... but together we can look to the Lord. God promises us that whatever we have need of... He will meet our needs, as we talk and I share my heart, and as we look to some of our elders for a few helps and suggestions on raising children.

  34. Crossing Together

  35. 32 This morning I would like you to think about yourself as ‘being the cause’ of your difficulties. If we are to give answers and change our circumstances so that we are able to help others to change, the changes have to take place in us first. If you want to make changes, then this is for you. If you don’t want to change, then it’s not for you.

  36. If you want to make changes and want to affect people in your workplace, at your school, your husband, your parents, or your wives... then this is for you this morning. My advice to you, as a Minister of the Gospel, is to look at yourself as the cause of the problem. I’m talking about your relationship problems and the solutions to them. You say “No, it’s not me. I’ve spent hours praying. It can’t be me”. Let’s do away with that attitude and say “I want to be helped”.My first thing advice is to look at yourself as the cause.

  37. 38 Number one, look at yourself in relation to the problem... your part in the situation. That’s the place to start. I’m telling you that from my heart and from my experience... not from an internet site, but from personal experience. When you’ve got a situation or conflict going on, the first thing to do is look to yourself. Can you say amen to that? Is that good advice for you? Don’t be like Adam and blame your Eve. Don’t be like Eve who blamed the serpent. Let’s get rid of that. We’re dealing with human nature and personality.

  38. 39 Let’s have a look at a dictionary interpretation of the meaning of the word ‘personality’. It is defined as ‘a dynamic and organised set of characteristics’. Dynamic means ‘it grows; it expands; it stops, it moves, its living’. Sometimes it’s great, sometimes it’s small. It’s something living, it’s ‘an organised set of characteristics and/or traits possessed by a person which uniquely influence his or her thought patterns, decision making, emotions, motives, reaction and behaviour in various situations’. So just get a little hold on that, have a little glance at it and take it in.

  39. 41 Thought patterns, decision-making abilities, emotions and motives. What are motives? They are what move us... cause us to go to the places we go to, and do the things we do.What are we trying to get out of doing something, and what are our objectives? We’ve got to ask ourselves these questions. You can’t get up in the morning and go on and then get up the next morning and just go on, without a purpose. Sometimes we have to stop, think, and ask ourselves these valuable questions. What is my motive for doing this with my wife? What am I trying to achieve?

  40. 43 So my advice as an aging man, a minister and a student of life, is for you to stop for a moment and take time to breathe and reflect. It’s called meditation in some circles. Stop to meditate and ask questions of yourself... what’s my motive in doing what I’m doing... and what do I desire to achieve? Ask yourself “What’s my motive for coming to church this morning? What’s my motive for living in a certain place? Why do I live in Wanganui? What’s my objective?” Then you have to ask yourself “Is the objective great enough? Is it achievable? Is it something that I really want? Is that my goal in life?

  41. 44 Is your real goal living for the Lord? You’ve got to work it out. “I’m doing this, I’m going here and this and that. Is it going to achieve my purpose of serving the Lord? Is it going to achieve that?” I’m not going to make your mind up for you. I’m not going to tell you anything. I want you to do a little bit of self-examination. Is everybody on board this morning to do a little bit of self-analysis and self-examination? It’s not up to preachers to try and dissect you or psychologists to try and get into your head. It’s important for you to do it... it becomes real when you do it for yourself. So stop for a moment and think.

  42. 48There’s another thing we need to learn... how not to add fuel to a conflict situation. If you know somebody who is built a certain way, as if they walk on glass... they are temperamental, very sensitive and aggressive... we need to learn to press the right buttons. Learn how certain people are made up.If you are dealing with your boss, and he’s a little bit aggressive, don’t do what I did when I was young. I would stand up to him, but the results weren’t so good because I ended up broke and out of a job – on the street. It is better to be compliant, submissive, and respectful then you’ll learn. That person is there to provide for you so that you can provide for your family. Appreciate it, and ditch the radical stuff.

  43. 65 Have you heard the term ‘cognitive thinking’? It relates to your ability to process information. The information I am giving you now, is causing your head to turn like a little blender. We can improve the way we can take information so that we can digest it and it can be put to good use. If you don’t digest food properly it’s cast into the waste. We’ve got to learn how to digest information, by nurturing our cognitive thinking. What I am made up of... all my parts, attitudes and complexes... either assist or inhibit my ability to process information. It makes me who I am and influences my behaviour.

  44. 90 Do you know what I do for the church as a pastor, and for my family as a father? I take the ladder away. There is no ladder to climb. That keeps you all on the same level. Competition is what started all this misery. When the All Blacks lose the rugby, the whole country is mourning... Competition drives misery. You compete with your peers and with the neighbours.“Oh, the Jones have got a new car”... “Look at his wife. She’s got a certain thing going for her in society and she’s so smart and she’s educated”, and your poor wife there, she does the gardens and peels the carrots... all that kind of competition. You‘ve got to destroy that animal. You’ve got to destroy the beast. Competition is a beast.

  45. 91Let’s deal with competition in our lives and families. Kill it.You tell your wife you’re good for me just the way you are and I love you to pieces and I’m going to help you grow and you don’t have to be like her. You don’t have to have a house like that, you don’t have to have a car like that, you don’t have to have an education like them you are perfect just exactly the way you are. You’ve got to destroy the competition and take away the ladder. You can only fall off a ladder if you are climbing one.

  46. 98 Remember what we said about the soul being the nature of your spirit. It’s got many traits that make up your personality. That’s what the soul is. The soul is all these little complex parts that make you who you are... whether you’re rough, an extrovert, an introvert, or whatever you are. The soul realm is what we are talking about. The spirit is whatever spirit it is and it has a nature... it’s called the soul and the Word of God is the one who put it together and can rightly divide it. He’s the technician.

  47. Hebrews 4:12 ... and is the discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. He knows your intentions, your motives, and your objectives. 99 He is the discerner of thoughts. He knows the way we think. He knows when we’re confused. He knows our trouble. He knows when we’re angry... when we’re disgusted and when we’re respectful... He knows. I don’t know... He knows. He’s the discerner of your thoughts and all your intentions. Why not give it to Him. We’ve got a little chart here that some psychologist put together for us, about personalities... about different natures, introverts and extroverts.

  48. PASS OUT CHARTS

  49. 101Pessimistic...that nature is always thinking maybe it’s not going to work out. They’re reserved, unsociable, and quiet... on the other side, they’re touchy, restless, aggressive, excitable, changeable, impulsive, optimistic and active.

  50. 102 Look at theExtroverts below... they’re sociable and outgoing. Reflect on your nature. Put yourself in there somewhere. I’m not going to do it, this is self-analysis today.
