  3. Dates to Remember • March 11th Packets due back to elementary sites • August 18th Wave Camp (4:30-7:00pm) • August 30stFirst Day of School • (Schedules available at 7:00am in Crest Hall) No schedules given out prior to this date. • School Hours 7:40-2:15 Daily

  4. Single/Block day Scheduling Single Period Days • Monday, Tuesday, and Friday Block Period Days • Wednesday- Periods 1,3, and 5 • Thursday- Periods 2,4, and 6

Honors Courses • English 7 Honors (Refer to work samples on counseling web page) • Pre-Algebra Honors-Math Placement Letters mailed May 6th • Return to Elementary Teachers May 13th Honors Algebra AHRT Test Dates May 19th 3:00-5:00 and May 20th 3:00-5:00 Oak Crest AHRT Test Dates May 17th and 18th at Diegueno • Students need to register for the AHRT test on the district website. • Students can take AHRT at any school site. • Considerations for Placement: • 1. Past performance (Grades from second trimester elementary report card) • 2. 5th STAR results • 3. Math placement test (given at the elementary sites late April) • Waivers • The district no longer requires waivers to be placed in an honors class.

  9. Support Classes • Your child may be placed in a support class in lieu of an elective based on: • 1. Past performance (grades) • 2.STAR results • 3. Math placement test Support classes are available in: Reading Math Writing

  10. Miscellaneous Information • Change incorrect information on packet at the elementary site • Notify O.C. if you move while attending O.C. • The BIG three • 1. Current immunizations/Whooping Cough • 2. Copy of birth certificate • 3. Two proofs of residency in SDUHSD attendance area (see list of acceptable proof of residency on website) • Lunch averages $5.00
