Aboriginal Health College • The Aboriginal Health College of the Aboriginal Health and Medical Research Council of NSW were in 2012 successful in gaining the tender from AIATSIS to run the pilot course for the Certificate IV in Stolen Generations Family Research and Case Management • Has been successful to get the course on scope and will be running once pilot is finished 1

Context The Certificate IV in Stolen Generations Family Research and Case Management is delivered over a six to twelve month period using a blended approach following McCall, Eichinger and Lombardo’s 70/20/10 model (2000). This model states that 70% of learning occurs from real life and on-the job experiences, tasks and problem solving; 20% from feedback and from observing and working with role models and 10% from formal training. 1

  12. Evaluation Data 80% of participants said the course was relevant to their role 90% of participant's said that the skills and knowledge learnt will help them to support Stolen Generation clients more holistically 100% of participant's said they would strongly recommend the course to others
