CA Supervisor Function (Concept)

Log in to CA in supervisor mode, we can monitor the status of ICD-Groups, listen in on conversations, take over calls, and perform other supervisory functions.

CA Supervisor Function (Programming)

CA Supervisor Extension number has to assigned.

CA Supervisor Extension does not need to be a member of ICD-Group.


CA Supervisor Function (Activation Key) -1

To enable CA Supervisor Function, we need CA-Supervisor licenses (activation keys).

CA-Supervisor activation key: KX-NCS2301 (1user)

Max. 4 KX-NCS2301 can be installed in NCP500/1000.

NB:

If a user wish to change the CA user mode after installation, please un-install the CA from the PC and re-install the CA again.


CA Supervisor Function (Log in) -2

If we do not program supervisor extension in PBX programming and try to CA log in, the following message is displayed.

CA Pro or CA Basic log in

If no activation key (KX-NCS2301) in the NCP, or CA supervisor activation key are taken by another CA supervisor.

Operation

Highlight a log-out ICD-G member → Click “Log-in” → The member goes to “Log-in” mode.

Highlight a log-in ICD-G member → Click “Log-out” → The member goes to “Log-out” mode.

If we want to use the following features, we have to select the “Display only ICD Group Member”

Operation

A call arrives at an extension → Highlight the extension → “Redirect” icon goes to “Active” mode → Click the icon →

Select destination

NB:

The Redirect function works direct call to the extension.

The Redirect function does not work to ICD-Group calls.

Operation

Highlight an extension (taking call)→ “Listen-In” icon goes to “Active” mode → Click the icon →Secret Busy Override

Highlight an extension (taking call)→ “Busy Override” icon goes to “Active” mode → Click the icon →Busy Override

Highlight an extension (taking call)→ “Take Over” icon goes to “Active” mode → Click the icon →We can take over the call
