Explore all aspects of next generation alerting • Develop recommendations for CSRIC’s consideration regarding actions the FCC should take to promote development of next generation alerting systems Two Approaches • Refinements and extensions of existing warning systems – Emergency Alert System & Commercial Mobile Alert System • New ideas and applications unrelated to these systems Communications Security, Reliability and Interoperability Council CSR C
