MPI CMP OnlineStudy Guide OVERVIEW • MPI is launching a global online study guide to assist meeting and event professionals in preparing for the Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) exam and achieving CMP certification. • The CMP designation recognizes individuals who have achieved a high level of operational expertise and practical experience in planning meetings and events. The CMP exam is offered by the Convention Industry Council (CIC). • The MPI CMP Online Study Guide was created in conjunction with Arizona State University, and is sponsored by the MPI Foundation and the Wyndham Hotel Group. • The Study Guide is a five-module learning program with voice-over narration, practice quizzes, and a mock exam at the end of the series and is accessible through www.mpiweb.org • The MPI CMP Online Study Guide is one element of a comprehensive Knowledge Plan designed to address the training and career development needs of the MPI Community.
