  3. BY ALLOWING GODS WORD TO CONTINUE ITS WORK IN OUR LIVES v. 15-17 • Makes people aware of their spiritual needs • Teaches us truths that can be found nowhere else • Rebukes – reveals what is wrong in our lives

  4. 4. Corrects – Straightening us out – putting us • back on to God’s road again • 5. Trains us to do what is right • 6. Fully equips us to serve God

  5. Meditation opens the soil of the soul • and lets the "water" of Gods Word • sink in deeply, • so that real growth can take place!

Bible Personalities • If you are impatient, sit down and talk with Job. • If you are just a little strong-headed, go and see Moses. • If you are tired and afraid, take a good look at Elijah. • If there is no song in your heart, listen to David. • If you feel cold and lonely, get the beloved disciple John to put his arm around you. • If your faith is weak, read about the Apostle Paul. • If you are getting lazy, listen to James. • If you are losing sight of the future, climb up the stairs of Revelation and get a glimpse of the promised Land
