Graduation Requirements Special Notes

  • Students may waive their 2nd year of PE by playing a school or club sport, marching band or performing group participation.

  • Most students within the CCSD earn their computer credit in middle school

  • While foreign language is not required to graduate, most colleges and universities required at least 2 years of 1 language for admission

  • Students must pass all 4 Nevada High School Proficiency Exams (NHSPE): Math, Reading, Science and Writing to receive a diploma.

  • While all classes count toward CCSD graduation, colleges mainly look at a student’s grades in core subjects for admission.
