Hormonal Method Barrier Method • The pill – taken once a month • Depo-Provera – Shots injected by Dr. – every 3 months • IUD/Mirena – sml device – T shaped in Uterus • Norplant – sml capsules in arm – 5yrs • Condom – Latex • Diaphram – sml rubber cup placed at base of Cervix (2 hrs) • Spermicidal Foam/Gel – kill sperm (used w/condom and Diaphram) Reducing the Risk!
