  2. Wafer engraving • Companies that manufacture electronic components commonly use laser engraving for final product identification as well as identifying work-in-progress. In fact, the first widespread production use of laser engraving was to serialize silicon wafers on integrated circuit production lines.

  3. MEDICAL INSTRUMENTS • The medical engraving process is approved by the FDA, so instrument manufacturers have one less hurdle in the product approval process. The medical engraving process can produce a dark, smooth mark on most metal surfaces so the laser marking does not trap blood or tissue material and thus simplifies cleaning and sterilization. Delrin, Teflon, PEEK, and ABS are examples of medical plastics that are commonly marked by the laser plastics engraving process.

  4. INDUSTRIAL COMPONENTS • The image shows a clock face and drum dials along with a bar code tag. Our lasers mark dozens of different bar codes as well as 2D matrix codes

  5. INDUSTRIAL COMPONENTS • Shown at left are a variety of components and instrument tags that were deeply marked, using laser etching, to withstand long term exposure to the elements

  6. PROMOTIONAL PRODUCTS • Personalized Promotional Items • Laser Impressions offers custom engraving: Key chains, luggage tags, flashlights, pens, knives, jewelry, awards, trophies, golf clubs, and business cards are just a few of the almost endless number of items that lend themselves to custom engraving.

  7. MEDICAL INSTRUMENTS • Manufacturers of medical devices use laser medical engraving because of the mark clarity, permanency (no added paints or chemicals), and its ability to survive repeated sterilization
