Jesus Himself sent other messengers: Mt 23:34 (NKJ) "Therefore, indeed, I send you prophets, wise men, and scribes: some of them you will kill and crucify, and some of them you will scourge in your synagogues and persecute from city to city, 35 "that on you may come all the righteous blood shed on the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah, son of Berechiah, whom you murdered between the temple and the altar. Therefore, since the Old Testament is TRUE AND the New Testament is TRUE THEN the WHOLE Bible is true and trustworthy according to Jesus, Who says very specifically: Mt 5:18 (NKJ) "For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law TILL ALL IS FULFILLED. This truth of the Bible takes the believer to a new level of awe and wonder, and of faith and study 2 Tim 3:16 (NKJ) All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. 2 Pet 1:19 (NKJ) And so we have the prophetic word confirmed, which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts; 20 knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation, 21 for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.
