  2. Summary • Emphasis is on the PSCPM project • Getting increasing buy-in from industry, government, and vendors • Started working on implementation strategies

  3. Industry • Boeing • Working on an updated proof of concept • Will lead into the implementation verification • Raytheon • Started conversations with Raytheon corporate representatives • Have identified a potential project for implementation verification • Northrop Grumman • Started conversations with representatives

  4. Government • NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) • Expressed great interest in using the standard • DCMA has committed to helping them with their implementation • Department of Defense • Increasing interest in the office of the Undersecretary of Acquisitions, Technology, and Logistics • DCMA is working to make the standard known throughout the DoD

  5. Vendors • Deltek • Have acquired two other vendors (Welcom and C/S Solutions) • Have committed to supporting the standard in their C/S Solutions product (wInsight) • Business Engines • Have committed to supporting the standard • Want to include it in their next release (later this year) regardless of its official status • Dekker • Have committed to supporting the standard • Artemis • Have expressed interest in supporting the standard

  6. Implementation • DCMA has put together a toolkit that supports use of XML standards • Based on open source components and standards (JBoss, JBX, xFire, XMLBeans, MTOM, Java) • Should facilitate implementation verifications
