  5. Method of Study • Selected term, healthy newborns (October and November of year 2000) • From Maternity homes in 9 different locations • 1000 questionnaires sent by post on April and May of 2001 • Response rate 46.9 %

  6. Objective • To compare the factors of breastfeeding mothers have been divided into two groups: • first group – mothersfrom Kaunas - 218 • second group – mothers from other locations of Lithuania – 234
