Definición RENAL@NET is an initiative of the Instituto Carso de la Salud, that offers un interactive and innovative system, in which individuals at risk of/or with CKD, and their families, friends and physicians interact through the use of the internet, celular phone, and residential and public telephone service. The intervention is designed to become a tool for the screening of individuals at risk, with emphasis on prevention, and to advise those with CKD on treatment compliance, and for living a healthier life style. In general, RENAL@NET will empower the person to understand, prevent, or live with CKD. For more information send the word RENAL to the number 22223 or visit our webpage: www.salud.carso.org

RENAL@NET • REN@ALNET is an interactive support system • for individuals living with CKD and their families. • REN@LNET provides tips on living with CKD information on medications, reminders • on daily doses and appointments. • REN@LNET tracks adherence and lab results • and gives users a dashboard to monitor their progress. • REN@LNET connects families, friends and physicians to inform them and engage them in fighting the disease. • REN@LNET is free;confidentialityandanonymity • are assured.
