The idea for me seat is a rugby field with goalposts as a backing to the seat.

Other • Engine • The engine i am using is the engine from a strimmers, I will have to strip it down to its core for it to fit in the frame • Steps • I will have a step either side of the frame, it will be 3mm sheet metal, 115mm long and 30mm wide. The will be painted with the tri-colour Seat Motorbike project Theme The theme I have chosen is the rugby world cup 2011. It is a relevant topic at the moment and one that I am passionate about and i feel as a result it will allow me to get the most out of this project and make it enjoyable and worthwhile at the same time • The handlebars are also in the shape of goalposts, they will be bent toward the driver of the bike. • It will be welded to the centre of the column mounting. • These will be painted to resemble goalposts and will have the padding on the bottom of the posts as can be seen in any rugby field. • The idea for me seat is a rugby field with goalposts as a backing to the seat. • The field will be 150mm x 80mm. • The field will be astro turf material and placed on sheet metal which will be welded to a seat support. • The goalposts will be 110mm high by 40mm wide Frame Mudguard The frame I am using is the standard frame using box iron. I have added a slight extension to the back of the frame to support the seat. It will consist of two extensions one on either side. They will be 85mm high and 20mm x 20mm box iron. Petrol Tank • The petrol tank is going to resemble a rugby ball similar to the one shown here • It will be 140mm long and 70mm wide at its widest point. • It will be made out of foam • It will be attached to the bike using a slot on the underside of the tank which will be 20mm x 20mm, it can be seen as the hatched section above. • The mudguard will be welded to the rear of the frame • It will be made of sheet metal and bent to around the wheel appropriately. • It will be designed with the rugby world cup 2011 logo.
