  4.  Your task • Read p.124-5 and note down under the heading, ‘Dissolution of the Greater Houses’ how H8 got rid of them. Focus on these methods: • Lack of resistance from abbots • Use of royal commissioners • Use of Parliament • Key individuals • How similar were the methods used for smaller monasteries?
