4. Goals continued • assist parents in preparing each child academically for sixth grade.

5. Supplies • Please replenish your child’s school supplies for the 2nd Semester- • Paper, pencils, pens, composition notebooks, etc.

6. DISCIPLINE NOTES • A level one discipline report will be determined by the teacher.

7. Level 1: after school detention • Level 2: Saturday School (requiring a $20 fee) and a parent conference • Level 3: suspension, or dismissal at the discretion of the principal

8. Homework policy • 1 day late: 10 points off • 2 days late: 20 points off • 3 days late: ZERO on assignment • Projects and book reports are 20 points per day late • TEACHERS will contact parents when a ZERO is given

9. PLEASE, PLEASE… • Cell phones are to be kept in book bag at school. • No iPods • No iPads • No electronics

26. They flew the same mission as the bombers but did not take over the plane. They escorted the bombers to the target. • Fifth grade is a transition year. Students transition from assistance from the parents to an independent student in middle school. • Supervise, but don’t take over!
