  2. Login at www.new-innov.com Click the Client Loginlink

  3. Enter the Institutional Login. • Enter your Username and Password. • Please contact your Program Administrator for your Username and Password • 3. Click Log In. • Click Forgot Your Password? if you need a temporary password sent to your email address. Click Add to Favoritesto add this page to your browser favorites for a quicker login process in the future.

  4. Home Page After completing login you will be directed to your Home Page.

  5. Notifications • Take note of the following relevant areas: • Department Notices from Administration • Notice for Curriculum review and confirmation • Notice for Evaluations that need to be completed • Notice for Duty Hours that require signoff

  6. Customize Home Page Layout You can customize the Home Page layout by dragging items where you wish and then clicking Save Page Layout Sections such as “My Favorites” may be collapsed by clicking on the icon in the upper right corner of each panel.

  7. Navigation Navigate through the software by clicking on the Main menu and selecting the area where you wish to work.

  8. Change Password Select Main > Change Your Password or click your username in the upper right corner of the display or click the Change Password menu item on the Home Page Once changed, click Save.

  9. Complete Evaluations On the Home Page under the Notifications heading, complete Evaluations by clicking on the complete them link You may also be allowed to select an evaluator or subject for an evaluation. If so, you will see links to select a person to evaluate or request a person to evaluate you.

  10. Evaluation Listing Click the Evaluate link next to each entry to complete the evaluation You may be permitted to return evaluations with the NET option (Not Enough Time). Check the box for each evaluation to return and click Submit Selected Evaluations as NET.

  11. Score Evaluations Once the form loads, select the appropriate response(s) for each question including designated or required areas for comments.

  12. Submit Evaluations When finished, check the signature box (if required) then click the Submit Finallink Click Save Draft when you want to save answers that have already been entered but you want to complete the form at a later time.

  13. View Evaluations View evaluations that you completed on others or evaluations that were completed about you (excluding anonymous evaluations). Select Evaluations the choose View > Completed Evaluations

  14. Evaluation Reports • Generate a report to see your cumulative evaluation results. • Go to Main > Evaluations • Choose Reports > Custom Evaluation Reports • Click on view next to the Individual Report (General) Reports will not include anonymous evaluations unless your coordinator has set up the report to allow viewing of anonymous results.

  15. View Rotation Schedule To view your rotation schedule: Go to Main > Scheduling-Block then View > My Rotations Click on the active link in the curriculum column to view curriculum documents for a particular rotation

  16. View Curriculum Click on the Curriculum Titleto view. After reading the document, click the Confirm link in the column on the right to date and time stamp your review.

  17. ViewMySchedule View a complete monthly schedule with rotation, conferences, and assignments. Go to Main > Scheduling-Assignment then View > My Schedule

  18. ViewConferenceDetails Click on the Conferencelinkto view conference details in a pop-up including information about links to attached files or sites to be reviewed prior to the event.

  19. ViewRotation Details View Rotation information and curriculum details from the My Schedule view. Click on the Rotation Title Link to display the Rotation Details dialog window.

  20. LogProcedures Go to Main > Procedure Logger then choose Add/View/Confirm > Add

  21. LogProcedures • Complete Procedure form and click Save • To log multiple procedures on the same patient, click Save and Retain

  22. View / Modify ProcedureLogs Go to Main > Procedure Logger then choose Add/View/Confirm > View and Edit or Delete logged procedures. Procedures confirmed by a supervisor may not be edited except with appropriate authorization (see your Program Administrator for assistance)

  23. ProcedureLogReports View reports that track procedure logging. Go to Main > Procedure Logger Choose Reports > Student/Physician Reports > Advanced Reports Click the Reportto view log details

  24. DutyHours To Add Duty Hours, go to Main > Duty Hours The default data entry method displayed is set by your department. Switch Data Entry Views with the links located on the entry page.

GraphicalTimelinePreferences • The Graphical Data Entry View requires setting Timeline Preferences prior to use. • Select Timeline Increment to determine chart divisions • Choose Horizontal or Vertical Orientation for display • Check the bypass option to skip the timeline setup in the future. • Select the day of the week to start logging and click Continue.

  26. GraphicalEntry Choose the specifics for the duty hour entry and click the cells that represent the time worked. Repeat steps for remaining logs and click Save. Hours that have been previously saved have a gray hatch through them.

  27. Vacation/LeaveHours Select My Duty Hours > Add Hours > Vacation/Leave. Select Vacation from the dropdown list and click on the first day of the vacation in the first calendar and the last day in the second calendar, then click Save.

ViewMyDutyHours • To view hours entered, go to My Duty Hours > View My Hours • A continuous period of time logged appears as a single entry per row. • Logs entered by the user are marked with “Res” in the source column. • Logs entered by Administration are marked with “Admin”. • Logs populated by the Assignment Schedule are marked with “Sched”

  29. EditDutyHours Click the Edit link adjacent to any entry, modify the details and click Approve. If you did not work projected hours, use the Did Not Work button. You may also delete any entries that you have logged.

  30. ReviewingEdits Edited entries may be viewed in the View My Hours listing. If you indicated that you Did Not Work hours, a DNW tag appears in the entry row.

  31. ApprovingHours • Hours that you entered in the future and are now past or any hours that were automatically populated from the assignment schedule may need Approved. • Click the Approve Existing Hours link on the entry screen. • Place a check in the box in front of the hours to approve and click the Approve Selected Entries button.

  32. SignoffNotification Your Administrator may set up a periodic Duty Hours Signoff requiring confirmation that you have properly entered duty hours for that block of time. Signoff notifications appear on the Home Page - click the signoff on your Duty Hours link to confirm signoff.

  33. Signoff Confirmation To sign off for a period of time, place an check in the box to the left of the interval and click Sign off
