  1. HOW SEEDLINGS GROW Seedlings are young plants that have just germinated from seeds. As they grow, they go through several stages of development. GERMINATION In this stage, the seed absorbs water and begins to sprout EARLY GROWTH The seedling continues to grow, developing its first true leaves and a root system. VEGETATIVE GROWTH As the seedling grows, it will begin to produce more leaves and branches. MATURITY Eventually, the seedling will reach maturity and become a full-grown plant. www.kavungal.in
