  3. “Loose” • 3. “Loose” is an adjective that means something is not contained, held back, or tied down in some way. • EX: The cows got LOOSE and wandered through the streets of Salem when their owners were hanged. • EX: If you are LOOSE with your words, the enemy will discover our plans. • EX: The girl didn’t use barrettes; instead she wore her hair down and LOOSE.
