  1. WHAT SHOULD HAPPEN TO THE BOSTON BOMBER? DACW

  2. WHAT HAPPENED? http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-22166037

  3. WHO WAS CONVICTED? On April 15, 2013, two bombs exploded at the finish line of the Boston Marathon, killing three people and injuring 264. After several days with a city on edge and police on the hunt, brothers Tamerlan and DzhokharTsarnaev , allegedly took the life of a police officer, before leading authorities on a chase through the outskirts of the city. The older brother, Tamerlan, was killed and Dzhokhar was nabbed the next day hiding underneath the tarp of a boat.

  4. WHY DID THEY DO IT?

  5. SHOULD HE FACE THE DEATH PENALTY? In January 2013, the courts will decide whether this young 19 year old man should spend his life in prison or be sentenced to death. MANY PEOPLE AGREE THAT HE SHOULD FACE HIS DEATH. OTHERS THINK HE WAS YOUNG AND HIS BROTHER WAS TO BLAME, SOME PEOPLE BELIEVE HE SHOULDN’T BE ALLOWED TO DIE, AS HE WOULD THEN BE SEEN AS A MARTYR..

  6. REFLECTION • We may all feel heavy-hearted and vigilant in the aftermath of terrorist acts, such as the brutal bombings that took place at the Boston Marathon. • May our faith comfort all who mourn and may we be blessed with the strength to both stand with those who suffer, and to give strength to our communities. • Let us ensure that terror may find no victory and allow ourselves to listen to others concerns before they become extremists.
