  23. Dual Credit • Partnership between KISD and HCC • Opportunity to take college courses while still in high school • Students are able to earn both college and high school credits simultaneously

Dual Credit Requirements • Enrollment in HCC Dual Credit Courses is subject to the student meeting ALL enrollment requirements by the KISD deadline: • Meeting the THEA requirement (taking the THEA test or providing documentation of exemption by TAKS or SAT scores) • Registering with HCC for classes • Paying all fees to HCC for the semester course ***information packet will be available in counselor office in May

  26. Senior Co-op Career Prep 1 • Enroll in Career Prep 1 class for two periods (8520) or three periods (8522) • Receive 2 - 3 credits • Must have own transportation

Sr. Only Non-Credit Courses • 0002 Work Release: 1 or 2 periods; form signed by employer & parent, must be on file by end of 2nd week of school • 0001 Student Assistant: 1 period only, pending principal approval • 0019 Study Hall: 1 period only ***all seniors must be enrolled in at least 5 credit courses!
