Topographies: Another overview of the city? • Topography: the art or practice of graphic delineation in detail usually on maps or charts of natural and man-made features/surfaces of a place or region especially in a way to show their relative positions and elevations • Topographies:Phillip’s interpretation of Nolli map and the interrelations among Jake, George and Phillip.

8. Nolli map • The studies of 18th century Rome by Giovanni Battista Nolli are an unique perspective revealing the intimate boundaries of public and private space within the city.
