BIDDING ROUND 2001 – 2006/2007 • 2 awarding mechanism: Regular Tender and Direct Proposal or Joint Study • Since 2003, Direct Proposal/ Joint Study contributes increasing number of area awarded for contract signing • > 180 Joint Study proposal were submitted and 42 have been approved • Plans for remaining Unsold Blocks: re- evaluated, Re-tendered, adding new data, open for Direct Proposal AWARDED 78 68 % TOTAL BLOCKS RELEASED (2001-2006): 115 BLOCKS

Conditions for Participating in Tender • Each company participating in Tender, whether participating as an individual company or as a group of companies, is required to register by obtaining an official Bid Document or Direct Proposal Document and Data Package issued by MIGAS. • Terms of the contract agreement : Production Sharing Contract

  7. 100 km Bone Basin • Bone Bay is located in Indonesia between South Sulawesi and South East Sulawesi • The basin covers an area of approximately 100,000sq km • 28,910sq km multibeam and 4,687 km seismic

North Makassar Basin • North Makassar Basin is located in Indonesia in the Makassar Straits between the islands of Borneo and Sulawesi • The study area was divided into a northern and southern area, comprising approx. 26,000 sq km. • 26,139 sq km multibeam, 111 drop cores and petroleum geochemical analysis
